Welcome to Gsurvivor2! I must say I am absolutely thrilled with the activity so far and I have a great feeling this season is going to be a blast! I'd like to remind everyone to read the rules as there are a few here that not all hosts have, such as:
-One World style, cross-tribal communication is allowed!
-Confessionals are mandatory! I can tell this wont be a problem for many of you as you guys are already posting things which is awesome! Our twist this season will benefit those who put effort into their confessionals too.

Now, for our season twist:
Season Twist: The Elemental Crystals!
The Fire Crystal
The Fire Crystal holds the essence of fire, which represents strength, determination and passion.
How do you obtain a Fire Crystal?
The fire crystal is obtained based on meeting certain parameters in the immunity challenges. Typically only 1 fire crystal is awarded and the most common condition is having the highest overall time/score out of everyone competing or simply being the best player on the tribe that wins immunity. The conditions to win a Fire Crystal will be made clear in the Immunity challenge.
They are not offered every immunity challenge, only a few will. If a Fire Crystal can be earned it will be stated how in the challenge.
Let it be known that unlike any of the other crystals, it will be made public who won the Fire Crystal.
What does the Fire Crystal do?
The fire crystal will allow you to double vote at one tribal council.
The Water Crystal
The Water Crystal represents purity and perseverance.
How do you obtain a Water Crystal?
Every few rounds a Water Crystal challenge will be posted, which is separate from the immunity challenge. They are less difficult and time consuming than your immunity challenges and always non-live. They also last for a few days at a time, so you may do it as your leisure. They are not mandatory. The single player who does the best in this challenge will win the Water Crystal.
The winner of the challenge will not be announced, so if you were not awarded with a crystal assume that you did not win. If you win a Water Crystal, it is up to you when, how or who you choose to reveal it to.
What does the Water Crystal do?
The Water Crystal allows you to nullify the vote of any player at Tribal Council, so their vote does not count.
The Earth Crystal
The Earth Crystal represents inner strength and personal reflection.
How do you obtain a Earth Crystal?
Every 2 rounds the hosts and PWs will award a Earth Crystal to whoever we agree had the best confessionals over those past 2 rounds. This makes this the most subjective crystal, but pay attention to the notes made on confessionals in the Rules section as a guide for what we are looking for.
Quantity will be a major factor in determining who wins this crystal. 250 words is a good goal for 1 round, and 500 words over 2 rounds. Now I am not going to post your confessionals in word and do a wordcount, this is just a ballpark figure. But also focus on the quality of your confessional, with emphasis on things like:
Are you simply rambling about nonsense or truly talking about the game, twists and other players? Be sure to talk about:
who you trust or don't trust
who annoys you and who you like
who you think or know has certain crystals
what's your strategy is and how it changes on a round to round basis
What twists you are expecting to happen in the near future.
You're also free to be a character and talk about funny and silly things not related to the game by all means, I love that stuff! But make sure to keep a balance however.
Gifs colors and images will also boost your confessionals in our eyes and improve your chances of winning the Earth Shard.
The winner of the Earth Shard will not be made public.
Remember also confessionals are mandatory ( only 1-2 sentences per round are absolutely required).
What does the Earth Crystal do?
The Earth Crystals gives you an advantage in an immunity challenge. This may be used for your ENTIRE tribe in a tribal immunity challenge, or saved for later in the game when you are fighting for individual immunity.
The Wind Crystal
The Wind Crystal represents agility and wisdom.
How do you obtain a Wind Crystal?
The wind crystal may be obtained once every 3 rounds, making it the least common and hardest to obtain of the 4 elemental crystals. There will be a password you have to solve to obtain the crystal. The clues may be given to you hidden on the board or very publicly in treemail. You will have access to more and more clues every round. The first person to either guess the correct answer in their confessional OR get past the password protected board will win the Wind Crystal.
Like the Water and Earth crystals, the winner of this crystal will not be made public.
What does the Wind Crystal do?
The Wind Crystal grants you the power to MUTINY to another tribe. Since all crystals may be traded, you may also give your Wind Crystal to an ally on another tribe so they may join your tribe for instance. You may only mutiny after Tribal Council Results but before a new immunity challenge is posted ( which is a 24 hour window of opportunity). Once the immunity challenge is posted you may no longer mutiny. More details will be given if you get the crystal.
At the merge, the wind crystal grants you the ability to give another player a CHALLENGE DISADVANTAGE.
The Infinity Crystal
This crystal holds the power of the universe
How do you obtain a Infinity Crystal?
These are extremely rare and hard to obtain. They will be rewarded during special challenges or events. They will not be easy to earn and very few opportunities to do so
!What does the Infinity Crystal do?
The infinity crystals contains the power of all 4 elements, so it is a wild card. You may use any of the Fire, Water, Earth or Wind powers, But it's one time use only. For example you can't double vote with it ( Fire Power) and then Mutiny right after. You select which one power you wish to use and then it shatters.
Regarding the Hidden Immunity Idol:
Anyone who possesses all 4 elemental crystals may combine all their crystals's together to make the Hidden Immunity Idol. The Infinity Crystal counts as any of the 4 elements, so if you have a Fire, Water Earth and Infinity Crystal, you may substitute to Infinity Crystal for the Wind Crystal and form the idol as well.
Whether you choose to save your crystals to make an idol, or use their powers is up to you. Keep in mind that after you use a Crystal's power, it will shatter and become useless, and cannot be used to form an idol.
Crystal Rules:
1. Whenever you win a crystal, you won't be rewarded that same crystal again twice in a row. You will need to wait, kind of like HoH in Big Brother. For example, if you win a Water Crystal challenge and receive a water crystal, you are forced to sit out of the next Water Crystal challenge, so you can't win it twice in a row. But you are eligible to play in the next Water Crystal challenge after that one.
This is the same for all crystals, but do not let that stop you from competing your hardest in challenges or writing kickass confessionals even after winning a Fire or Earth crystal!
You are also free to attempt to solve a password again even after winning a Wind Crystal, though if you solve it you will not receive another one right in a row. You may however give the password to friend if you so choose so they win the Crystal.
Keep in mind, just because you can't win 1 crystal however, doesn't mean you can't try for the others! Say for example you really kicked ass and won the Fire and Water crystals, you may not be able to win them again next time BUT, you can still try for the Earth or Wind ones!
You may have multiples of 1 crystal. It is possible to have 2 Fire Crystals, 1 water and 1 wind for example, depending on your performance. But crystals are in limited supply, so it won't be easy to get multiples.
2. Crystals can be traded between players. If you want to work together with 2 or more players to create a Hidden Immunity Idol from the 4 elemental crystals you may do that, but keep in mind only 1 person may possess the idol at 1 time. You may also trade crystals to increase your collection. For example, say you have 2 Water crystals and a Earth Crystal. You may want to trade your Water Crystal for someone else's Fire Crystal so you are that much closer to having all 4 elements.
You are also free to simply give away or pass your crystals without receiving any in return. If you would like to do a trade with a player and you're paranoid they may not give you a crystal back in return, one of the hosts may act as a mediator in a trade to ensure neither side gets screwed. Then again, it is this host's personal advice that if you don't trust someone, don't trade with them
.3. 1 Crystal, and only one may be transferred if you are voted off. You must give it to someone on YOUR tribe and you will do so publicly after you got voted off in the TC thread. If you don't have crystal you do not give one obviously and even if you do have a crystal you have a choice to keep it and not give it away after being voted off, the choice is yours.
