Almost immediately upon arriving at camp 3 days ago, Natalie was attacked by a wild chimpanzee and knocked out. She woke up a bit later to utter her only words "My name is Jill Hott" confused by her own identity after the chimpanzee attack. The girls all looked at each others bewildered, but nodded their heads in agreement to Natalie in regards to her false name. These happen to be the only words Natalie ever speaks, as she collapses again immediately after, falling into a deep coma. Survivor medics rush to the scene and believe the coma to be caused by brain hemorrhaging, it appears the chimpanzee had caused a severe concussion and Natalie's head was swelling and her brain injured. The helicopter crews rushed in to evacuate the nearly lifeless body. The doctors are doubtful if Natalie will ever regain consciousness and still don't know if she awakes, will she remember her original identity as Natalie, or still believe she is a woman named Jill Hott?
This is a tragedy we Survivor hosts always try our bests to avoid. This had happened once in One World with Kourtney Moon, who's evacuation canceled the girls first tribal council. The same ruling will happen here. No votes will be revealed, and time will be taken to mourn this great loss to the game, losing someone as fascinating, provocative and zealous about the game as Natalie is a great disappointment . But we will move on from this as better people, and pray for Jill...errrr Natalie in our dreams and hope for a swift recovery.
Treemail will be up soon.
