K Gina, you win. I thought that 1) Dawn may quit, 2) Malcolm could pull off at least one immunity win or 3) he would have enough idols for two rounds. None of that happened. Like you thought.
Malcolm did not play that well. If Andrea knew he had another idol, so what? That doesn't stop a split vote. It would happen anyway. It would simply force him to play it because he would be the target because of it. And getting out one of the six could change everything and is worth the expense. Get one to flip... that is that.
I also think Sherri should have flipped. She could have made a huge move here and possibly been able to argue at endgame. Now... she's a goat at best. She has no chance to win.
After tonight, I am expecting the finals to be Cochran, Sherri, and Andrea. 5-3-0 vote, Cochran wins over Andrea. Eddie, Malcolm, and Phil vote Andrea. And no, those are not spoilers. That is my prediction.

She was one of the people we wanted back... and then... this :/ I am guessing that thing on Wikipedia has been changed already. I am on my phone so I won't look. Will cut off most of the chart grrrrr. I'm just in the habit of... not using my phone for Wiki xD |

My projected boot order:
8th: Eddie
7th: Brenda
6th: Dawn
5th: Reynold
4th: Erik
3rd: Sherri
2nd: Andrea
1st: Cochran
The remaining S-R-Us members vote out Eddie since he's a sitting duck and Reynold wins immunity. Then they realize how well-liked Brenda is and they take her out in 7th (her abrupt increase in airtime is indicative of her getting 7th or 8th). They follow suit with Dawn, using Reynold to do it. Then they vote out Reynold once he no longer has immunity. Erik gets 4th, thanks to Cochran and Andrea realizing he had it in good with the three amigos. Thus, the finals are Andrea, Cochran, and a goat who just rode coattails after destroying her tribe.
Michael judges who he thinks played the best game, which in his mind is Cochran.
Phillip votes for his #2 from Ometepe, Andrea.
Malcolm votes for the girl that managed to stop him from getting that idol. Andrea.
Eddie votes Andrea because she tried to wrap him around her finger. He likes that.
Brenda votes for Cochran for playing the better game.
Dawn is bitter and votes for the person she doesn't think betrayed her - Cochran.
Reynold wants a guy to win so he votes Cochran.
Erik votes Cochran.
Just my line of thinking. We'll see if it ends up predictable from here...

For someone who felt like Abi-Maria was a dumbass last season, at least she was smarter enough to buy an immunity advantage over beer. Bye bye, won't be missed.

I dislike Malcolm as much as the next guy but he bough the idol clue which was huge and I am surprised he didn't find it quickly. Usually it is one or the other so I agree that he should of jumped on the first one he got. I was shocked no one tried to stop him. Happy to see him go. He is a fun player to watch but hella overrated. He plays for the fans and not to win, especially this season. |

Malcolm is one of my favorite castaways. He may have an ego, but at least he recognizes that and is playful with it. I think he is fun to watch and I love how articulate he is. Makes for great TV and still plays well, even if he could play even better.
I think he needs to realize that causing shit to hit the fan at Tribal won't necessarily save him. Look at his track record. His biggest moves involved idols at Tribal... and the final four pact with Skupin and Lisa. Yes, he makes for drama but it tends to make his target bigger. I find him rootable despite the ego. He's not a douchebag and, unlike people like Ozzy, isn't annoying because of of his... "masculine tomfoolery."

I loved Malcolm last season. Found him too arrogant this season. Ozzy was the same for me. The more he returned, the more arrogant he got.

I wouldn't care if Andrea followed me around, look for it. It was his only shot and he should have known that.
As for the result, this episode sealed it for me that Cochran would win this game! Surprised Erik and Brenda got airtime. At the beginning I thought it was because Brenda was leaving haha I like how the most they've shown her was this round and she was whiny and crying and annoying. Made me mad! I want the fun Brenda!
But I'll disagree Amanda. Brenda isn't one of the people at the beginning I wanted to see back. I'm annoyed with Dawn and dislike her more and more each episode, but I think the final 3 will be Dawn, Cochran, and Erik/Brenda, probs Brenda. Then I think Cochran will blow it out of the water.
I wouldn't have wanted a Cochran win at the beginning of the game, but at this point....he's the lesser of 8 evils.

I despise Dawn as well. What a heartless c***. She is annoying with all her crying too. I think she will make the end.... but the jury will despise her for being a c*** too.
The producers really set up Brenda the bomb. They made her make a choice that either made her selfish and disliked or selfless and a huge jury threat. That was brutal. I really hated this episode because of it. Brenda needs all the (((((HUGS))))) she can get.
